How we actually work.

Our engineering culture is the same discipline we sell, turned inward: evaluation before building, proof over assertion, small senior teams with real ownership, and an honesty about what’s weak that most companies can’t afford.

01

We eat our own gates.

It would be strange to sell governed engineering and practice cowboy coding internally. We don’t. The same principles we compile into products run our own work: we write the evaluation before the system, we attach evidence to claims, and we name the weakest part out loud before anyone else has to find it.

The result is a culture that is rigorous without being slow. Gates are not bureaucracy when they’re built in — they’re the thing that lets a small team move fast and still ship something defensible. That is the bet our whole company is built on, and we run it on ourselves first.

02

How we build.

01
Evals before code
We define success before we build it.
02
Proof over assertion
A claim without evidence doesn’t ship internally either.
03
Small senior teams
Few people, real ownership, high trust.
04
Single-file rigor
Self-contained, production-grade, no orphan dependencies.
05
Honest about weak
We surface the weakest gate first, always.
06
Fast because governed
Built-in gates let us move quickly and safely.
03

A day in the work.

01
Define done
Write the evaluation; agree what "provable" means here.
02
Build to pass
Engineer the system against the harness, on the spine.
03
Name the weak spot
Before review, we say what we’d challenge ourselves.
The bet
Built-in gates let a small team move fast and stay defensible.
